"Crumbs! Couture" and The Cake & Bake Show

Hello Cake Fans, 

I am chuffed to tell you that Crumbs has been asked to team up with the Cake and Bake Show, which takes place in September this year at Earls Court!  http://thecakeandbakeshow.co.uk/

I will be attending as a star speaker (click here for details). During the show I will be demonstrating various cupcake baking recipes as well as decoration techniques.

I am really excited about this event as it is the first live event that is dedicated to baking and cake decoration. There has been a massive surge in the popularity of "caking and baking" as a hobby, thanks to shows such as The Great British Bake Off. This event is the perfect opportunity for all you budding bakers to come and meet your favourite professionals face-to-face!!

It should be a fantastic event for all of the family to enjoy. I can't wait!

Cupcakes for the Andrew Flintoff Foundation!

Hello Crumbs! Fans,

I am very proud to announce that we will be donating cupcakes for the AF Foundation Ball which takes place on the 2nd September 2011 at the Hilton on Park Lane, London.

The AF Foundation has been established by Andrew and Rachael Flintoff in order to help redesign, refurbish and maintain Rehab and Physio Units in the various children's hospitals around the country.

Cupcakes for Sentebale, Prince Harry's charity.

Hello Crumbs! Fans,

We were recently contacted by Fredrik Ferrier and Francis Boulle from Made in Chelsea regarding their weekly charity events at Tuatara Club on Kings Road, Chelsea. They have organised a weekly event called "Fundraise Mondays" which takes place on the roof terrace of Tuatara, with gorgeous sunset views over the Kings Road (tuataraclub.com).

All profits from their events go to Sentebale, a charity set up by Prince Harry in 2006 to help vulnerable children and youngsters in Lesotho. You can learn more about Sentebale here: www.sentebale.org

We are very happy to be providing cupcakes for their roof terrace parties and hope that their events raise lots of money for this very worthy cause!

Glasto 2011

Hello Wonderful Crumbs! Fans,

We are all rather excited to have been asked to drop some cupcake boxes off for the celebs on Saturday at the Glastonbury Festival! We will be making up some bespoke cupcakes for the likes of Tinie Tempah and Jessie J!

While we are there we will also be dropping off a free box of cupcakes for a member of the public as part of a Twitter competition. All you have to do in order to be in with a chance of winning 12 yummy cupcakes is to follow us on Twitter (@cupcakes_london) and RT our competition tweets!

Cupcakes for the celeb/press event at Oasis Fashion

Hello Crumbs! Fans!!

A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to provide cupcakes for the Oasis Summer Press Day at their HQ on Regent Street, London. Their new line of clothes has a very Vintage-inspired feel, and so they wanted cupcake designs to complement this.

We were happy to provide them with some sweet treats, which were sampled by their high-profile guests, such as The Saturdays, Alexandra Burke, Wonderland, Sunday Girl and Alice Gold.

Celebs Love Crumbs!

Back in May 2010 we were contacted by a wedding coordinator who asked us if we could provide cupcakes for a "high profile" wedding that was set to take place later in the year. We were told that the wedding was likely to be in October, and that the cupcakes may be flown abroad. 


We were given basic details on the type of cupcakes that were required, and I was then asked to sign a confidentiality agreement, agreeing to keep the details of the forthcoming celebrity wedding a secret. 


Now that the wedding has passed I can confirm that it was none other than the wedding of Katy Perry and Russell Brand which took place in Rajasthan, India. Our cupcakes were taken over 2 days before the nuptials and went down a storm with the couple and their guests.


We had feedback from the couple which included the words "Show-stopping" "Delisch" and "Amazeballs".

Crumbs Couture Cupcakes London and Kiss FM DJ Neev

We were recently contacted by Kiss FM’s DJ Neev and asked to provide a cupcake tower for her 30th Birthday Party at London’s Swanky Studio Valbonne Nightclub. Neev is known as the Voice of Kiss FM and has a very popular daily lunchtime show. Given that we listen to her show every day bopping around while we bake in the Crumbs! Kitchen, this was a huge honour!!

Her taste in cupcakes clearly matches her DJing ability, hence her choosing Crumbs Couture Cupcakes! Neev asked us to make her a tower in a pink colour scheme which can be seen below.

She recently got in touch with the following comments:

“Hi there! thank you again they were so nice! I only got to eat half of one but it was yummy.”
